What will my child learn from attending classes or camps?
Children are introduced to a wide variety of basketball skills and techniques through fun, creative activities. Our motto is Play, Learn, Grow. Sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, and encouragement are a major part of every class and camp.
How do level classes work?
Please register by age group, not skill level. All levels are beginner-friendly, and age brackets may vary slightly by city.
- Baby Ballers: Ages 2–3½
- Level 1: Ages 4–5
- Level 2: Ages 5–7
- Level 3: Ages 8–11
- Level 4: Ages 11–13
Can my child move up a level?
Yes. If your child’s skill level is higher, we can manually place them in a higher-level class when space allows. Some cities require class changes through Parks & Recreation.
What should my child bring to class or camp?
Classes: Water bottle, athletic clothing, and comfortable athletic shoes. No sandals.
Camps: Water bottle, athletic clothing, athletic shoes, sunscreen, hat or visor, snack, and backpack.
Does Youth Evolution Basketball offer camps?
Yes. We offer 3-day camps and full-week camps throughout the year. Summer camp is our most popular camp season.
Is a jersey included?
Some cities include a complimentary jersey, but it is not guaranteed. If you miss the jersey handout, it may not be distributed the following week.
If I bring my own basketball, what size does my child need?
- Level 1: Size 6
- Level 2: Size 6
- Level 3: Size 6 or 7
Are your classes and camps coed?
Yes. Boys and girls are welcome in our classes and camps.
Why are staff asking for an ID check on the first day?
Not all cities require ID checks, but check-in and check-out are required for safety. Staff also maintain emergency contact information during class or camp.
What happens if it rains?
If classes are postponed due to rain or unsafe conditions, the canceled class is usually added to the end of the session. Please check the Class Status Update page for updates.
Are coaches background checked?
Yes. Coaches are background checked. We also train and mentor staff so they can provide a safe, organized, and positive experience for participants.
Refunds and cancellations
Youth Evolution does not control registration payments unless otherwise noted. Many registrations are handled directly through city Parks & Recreation departments. Please send us a message if you need help finding the correct contact.
- 15 days or more before start: 90% refund
- 5–14 days before start: 50% refund
- Less than 5 days before start: No refunds
Can my child try a class before registering?
No. Due to insurance requirements, children must be registered before participating.
Bullying protocols
All participants must feel safe and welcome. Bullying, teasing, unsafe behavior, and inappropriate language are not tolerated and may result in removal from the program.

Youth Evolution Soccer introduces children to soccer skills and techniques through fun, creative activities. Children learn soccer while building teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and encouragement.
What should my child bring to soccer class?
- Water bottle
- Hat or visor
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable athletic clothing
- Shin guards required for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3
- Cleats are recommended but not required
If your child brings their own soccer ball, please write their name on it. No sandals or boots allowed.
What should my child bring for Baby Kickers?
Comfortable shoes, water bottle, and comfortable athletic clothing. Soccer balls are provided. Shin guards are not required for Baby Kickers.

Does Youth Evolution Flag Football offer camps?
Yes. We offer 3-day camps and full-week camps throughout the year. Summer camp is one of our most popular seasons.
What should my child bring to every class?
