  • 5–14 days before the start: 50% refund

Youth Evolution classes will take place in the Carrillo Street Gym, 114 East Carrillo Street. The gym is tucked away on the north side of the Carrillo Recreation Center, the large brick building on the corner of Anacapa and Carrillo.

Please park in the Anacapa Public Parking Lot, next to Union Bank — 60-minute free parking. Or use street parking along Carrillo or Anacapa Street (please observe posted signs).

DO NOT PARK OR DROP OFF IN THE SMALL LOT IN FRONT OF THE GYM. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed.

Conduct and Expectations

All participants should feel safe and welcome in Youth Evolution classes. Bullying, teasing, and inappropriate language are not tolerated. Parents will be contacted immediately if their child engages in such behavior. Consequences may include removal from the activity, suspension from the following class, or removal for the remainder of the session. These expectations will be presented on the first day and will serve as the warning.

What if it rains?

Please check our Class Status Update page for updates. We’ll notify families by email/text based on city guidance and safety considerations. Indoor programs will run regardless of rain.

FAQ

How do Level Classes work? Can I register my child for any Level?

Levels are based on age groups, not skill level. All levels are beginner-friendly; please register based on your child’s age. Age brackets can vary by city.

Are Scholarships or Financial Aid Available?

We offer a Scholarship Program; some cities may also provide aid through their Parks & Recreation department. Send us a message to learn more.

How are groups formed?

We group by age and adjust for ability after the first session to keep activities balanced and fun.

Do you provide equipment?

Yes, core equipment is provided. Players should bring water and wear appropriate shoes.
